  22. I'm a guy sitting in Germany and trying to use AmiTCP 4.0 DEMO to use my
  23. SLIP-account to the Technical University of Aachen.
  24.  
  25. Although I have answered all installation questions properly my
  26. CSLIP-providers request a value for MTU=256. This value for MTU is not
  27. accepted by the installation procedure of the RHCSLIP configuration.
  28. So I just put in the value '256' by hand at the right place in the startnet
  29. file, but still there is no reply trying to get a connection with ping.

  31. I would be happy if anyone is able to help me on this problem because
  32. I have no idea to use this MTU in the right way.

  34. If you have suggestions please send them per e-mail for I'm not able to read
  35. the nets regularly.

  38. My AmiTCP-FAQ is from 1994/10/27 vers. 2.14.
